Louis C. Woolf retired from Woolf McClane in early 2012. He practiced law for over 50 years.
His practice was nationwide and focused on the organization, management, and trial before juries of litigation considered significant by the client because of size, complexity, or the issues involved. Mr. Woolf was listed in THE BEST LAWYERS IN AMERICA® for personal injury litigation since 1987.
Mr. Woolf was born in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from The University of Tennessee College of Law in 1960 and was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1961. He is a Life Member of the Sixth Circuit Judicial Conference and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Over the span of his career, Mr. Woolf participated as a speaker at various seminars in the product liability field with regard to both substantive and procedural issues arising out of product liability litigation. He also made several presentations to the American Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Association on the subject of admissibility of expert testimony.
