Alicia J. Teubert
Associate
Alicia Teubert is an associate of the firm whose primary areas of practice are business and real estate transactions. She assists businesses and individuals with business formation; mergers and acquisitions; contract drafting and review; real estate purchase, sale, leasing, and finance transactions; real estate title matters, estate planning, probate and other general transactional matters. Alicia is committed to providing practical, solutions-oriented legal advice tailored to each client’s specific goals. She works collaboratively with clients and other advisors to help facilitate efficient transactions while minimizing legal risk.
Alicia is originally from Saline, Michigan. She received a B.A. in political science and communications from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. She obtained her J.D. from The University of Tennessee in 2010 and is a member of the Order of the Coif. Before joining the firm, Alicia gained experience advising clients in private practice and working in the title insurance industry on commercial and real estate transactions.
Alicia serves on the Board of Governors of the Knoxville Bar Association and is a longtime member of its Wellness Committee, where she shares her passion for personal finance through the Financial Wellness Subcommittee and brings her passion for physical fitness to her leadership role in coordinating the Healthy Bar Challenge. Outside the office, Alicia pursues her passion for endurance sports, training on the roads and trails with her husband for races ranging from 5Ks to 50-mile ultramarathons and incorporating rock climbing for crosstraining.
