Woolf McClane and
Moon Capital Management to Build Habitat House

Woolf McClane is proud to announce its partnership with Moon Capital Management to support Knoxville Habitat for Humanity as Covenant Partners for 2008. On January 26th, the firms will jointly begin construction of a new Habitat home in South Knoxville. Scheduled for completion in April of 2008, the project will become home to Louisiana natives Jon and Kandice Best, who along with their four children, Andrea, (age 13), Destiny (age 8), Destin (age 4), and Jolee (2 months), were displaced by hurricanes Rita and Katrina in 2005.

By sunset on January 26th, approximately eighty (80) volunteers from Woolf McClane and Moon Capital Management will have transformed the project site from a bare concrete pad into a fully framed and roofed house. It is no surprise that the first day of construction has been dubbed “Blitz Day”!! Construction will continue on each Saturday throughout February and March. Woolf McClane invites all of its clients, friends, and family to participate in this exciting project. Whether you like swinging a hammer, painting, or if you would just like to be an “extra pair of hands” to help get the job done, we welcome your on-site participation. No construction knowledge or experience is necessary. Alternatively, if you or your company would like to contribute financially by donating funds, materials, or other construction services for the project, your support will be greatly appreciated by the Covenant Partners and Habitat for Humanity.
